Sundown Safaris, LLC has been escorting people on safari to Africa since 1985. Owners, Dale and Tammee Tuttle have combined experience of over 60 years in the “people business” helping others enjoy their vacation and holiday time. Dale spent thirty years in the zoo business as curator and executive director. He is a qualified zoologist and naturalist having spent considerable time in the wilder places of our planet. He was involved in many international field projects such as the desert antelope of West Africa and elephants of Asia and Africa . Tammee has been organizing safaris for over twenty years which began at the Jacksonville Zoological Gardens in 1990. Both Dale and Tammee are very people oriented and derive a great deal of pleasure taking people to some of their most favorite places on Earth. Dale has spent over three years of his life in Africa on safari. He knows the camps and environment very well.
